Artist description
The Anti-Love Project's music shifts between the erotic and aggressive, the celibate and the sensual.
Accidentally formed in the summer of 2002 for a friend's recording project as the Nancyboys, the band spent
their summer playing shows with Allston melancholies Owen's Comet.
We all know summer love is easy though. It's when the weather starts to suck that your
friends stay home. But as the weather grew colder, ALP began to formulate their vision of
a controlled world, free from the distractions of love. Love of others. Love of drugs. Love of alcohol.
Love of Life.
Of course, it didn't work. It's our ongoing and humanly impossible mission, our lifelong project.
I don't think you know us, but I think that you could try.
