Artist description
Singer/guitarist Andrew Hunter has taken elements from 80's synth-pop and new wave (New Order, Talk Talk, Depeche Mode, David Bowie), 90's industrial (Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb) and created a sonic canvas unlike anything in the Canadian music scene. Electronic dance beats, catchy basslines and complex layers of orchestral synthesizers are woven into popsong structures. Add in raging distorted guitar and passionate vocal melodies and you have the unique art that is TRENCH RUN. |

Artist History
Officially formed around 1999 Trench Run is a project several years in the making. Written and recorded in his home studio Andrew has nearly completed his first full album entitled "Atlas of the Human Anatomy". And now with long time friend, colaborator and producer Steve Ireland, TRENCH RUN is going live. With Steve behind the elaborate keyboard rig and Andrew gripping the microphone with his black Les Paul, they hope to break the standard mold of guitar/bass/drum rock and prove to the audience that there are no rules in modern music. Only cool and catchy songs, honest lyrics and plenty of black leather, PVC and eye make-up.
