Artist History Oak From Ash has its earliest roots at Peoria Christian School, Peoria, IL. Casey, Donovan and Jeremy all went to High School there, and started playing some of thier current music during those years. After High School, Casey went to Trinity International University, where he met Tim and Dave. They created the Solice project, revitalizing some old hymns for the Kenosha Bible Church. This project became a hit, and led to many performances around the Midwest, as well as an opportunity to open for Rebecca St. James. After the Solice project had fared so well, Casey took the advice of some of his friends and formed Oak From Ash, which mainly performs music he has authored and co-authored with other members of the band. Since forming in 2001, the band has gained quite a following, with fans from every part of the United States, as well as Russia, Japan, and parts of Africa.
