Artist History
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL - November Charlie. What the hell is that? Well, in modern aviation NC is the first 2 letters of an airplanes call sign, hence November Charlie. November Charlie is also a band. A "pop-punk" band. A damn good band. People have said that they sound like Green Day. People have said that they sound like Blink-182. People have said that they sound like Mathew Sweet. My Mom says they sound like Shit. With all that being said they just sound good. Plain Old Good.
November Charlie is a 3 piece "Power Pop Punk" band from Clearwater & Altamonte Springs FL. Now...Altamonte Springs is a suburb of Orlando, home of the Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, O-Town and adopted home of Britney Spears. Rest assured that the only thing that November Charlie has in common with them is that they all play music. That's it. Period.
The lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for November Charlie is Mick Fazz. The same Mick Fazz that fronted Critical Mass in the early 80s thru the early 90s. The same Critical Mass that was signed to MCA back in 1980 and released an album called "It's What's On The Inside That Counts". The album was produced in part by Chris Squire of Yes fame. It was recorded at Squires home studio in London.
Frank Patterson is the Bass player. Frank has been playing in the Central Florida area for about 20 years. The bulk of that time as a guitarist and bassist for Jill Towers & Heat and Face 4 Radio. One of the most popular bands in Central Florida during the 80s and 90s.
The drummer for November Charlie is Phil Fleetwood, who's background includes The Generators, a band that recorded 3 albums and was featured on the nationally released Breakout USA CD. Issued by The Westwood One Radio Network, the project featured the top 15 unsigned bands in the country in 1991.
Now you may be asking yourself… Why is that important? Well bottom line is...it is not important at all. What is important is that you like what you hear.
In the words of John Lennon...I splendid time is guaranteed for all.
