Artist description Manky are five fellow pop dropouts who've been together for about 18 months. We share a passion for writing beautifully constructed songs that explore and express the range human emotion and strive to avoid the overuse of banal and obvious musical cliché's. To date we have only played a handful of gigs (our last one was in June at the Spitz Bar in London). We prefer as much as possible to organise and promote our own or work with like minded artists, rather than follow the path of the thousands of wanna-be stars seeking success only to find that they are playing to empty rooms on dreary Monday nights in Camden. We write, play and record simply because we love to do so. You can download mp3 files of all 12 songs we've recorded to date for free.
