Artist History
DOMAIN was formed by Paul (Vocals/Guitars) early in 1990 under the name of Pandemonium.
No one knew then, that the name Pandemonium would become so popular in
the Polish underground a few years later. He was joined by Peter ondrums. After the
arrival of Simon on Bass, they recorded their first Demo/Rehearsal in May 1991. That release forced
Polish Carnage Records to sign the band for a Demo tape. That's how the legendary "Devilri" Tape was released.
The band recorded "Devilri" in february of 1992. The tape was sold in several thousand copies.
Until October 1993 Pandemonium played over 100 gigs all over the Poland with
bands like Imperator, Hate and Vader. The band took part in legendary
festivals like S'trashydlo Festival", "Shark Attack Festival" and the
biggest event… the "Jarocin Festival" where they played with KAT.
At the end of 1993 they entered "Izabelin" studio to record their first full-length album, "The Ancient Catatonia".
During that session the drummer Peter was replaced by the recent band manager and
drummer of Imperator, Carol. The next wave of gigs started with the appearance at
the "Metalmania Festival". Pandemonium played with Samael, Morbid Angel, Unleashed, Cannibal Corpse, Hazael and others.
In 1995, their second full-length album recording session started at the "P.J.House" studio in their home city, Lodz.
The album was scheduled to be named "Domain", but due to legal problems with the band name, the band released
the album under the name Domain and named the album "Pandemonium" instead. It was released on CD/TAPE by
the polish record label Morbid Noizz. After the release of "Pandemonium" the band had a long break due to parting
with some band members, like Carol on drums.
In the Autumn of 1998, the band started to play again
