Artist description
Musically, Compound Fraxure expresses the picture of the struggles youth of today face. Their songs reflect a deep frustration understood by anyone who has seen the workings of the government, the thumb that holds down the youth, and the prevailing religious eye that has been judgmental and cold of our modern culture. They sing about the importance of keeping one's dreams alive, so that one may fufill full potential.
Stifled by the imposing politics that had surrounded and choked out any artistic movement at that time, they started the group to share their musical expression of the perceptions that drive them.

Artist History
Compound Fraxure is an unusual group working toward a balance seldom seen on a local level. This 4-piece band has evolved over the past four years, becoming capable of expression of each member's artistic talent. Each member masters all the instruments on stage, showcasing each member's ideas without constraint. This flexibility and ability during a live act gives the effect of four individual sounds on one stage. Their switchover is a smooth transition and the change in expression cannot be mistaken. Compound Fraxure has no single frontman; their diverse live act displays a wide spectrum of emotion and intensity, reaching all levels of the human experience. |
