Artist description
This Coma-Dose Creation is comprised of Calear keyboardist RavenF and the mysterious madman by the name of pHEAR. The tracks are divided between both artists that take on very attractive collective of demons for your mind.
pHEAR crawls into your psyche with abysmally dark trancelike states that surround you reaching the darkest regions of your soul. Simplistic flowing phasing strings layered with subtle yet attractive percussive elements take you through endless tunnels of the mind. pHEAR's tracks never leave me, I could listen to them endlessly. Raven's comositions lean more on the experimental dark edge of electro and recycle elements of what reminded me of some of the best old experimental of klinik, Skinny Puppy, and Scar Tissue.
Interesting samples throughout the album provoke thoughts every time you listen to this release. Brutal Bastion utilizes more samples than any other band I've heard, other than Skinny Puppy and Xorcist. They give more depth to each track, leaving the audience with trancelike states that submerge the soul.
