Artist description
Hailing way north of Toronto, Age's development as an artist was affected by factors not faced by most city emcee's. Similarly, many of what is common place in the city, was not a part of Age's experience. That, combined with his love for music and his determination to express himself through the culture has formed a unique sound that he can truly call his own. Age blends a very raw energetic approach with creative thought and consciousness allowing his listeners to be taken on an adventure from song to song. Since day one Age has been open to experimentation with his talent, his versatility has allowed him to be a part of many musical projects. Whether he is performing over heavy metal music, or being the grungy voice in a car chase as in the project he did for the FOX television series “24”, he is well accepted in all situations.
Age’s latest project named “TIMELESS” takes the listener through a story of an evil being trapped inside his head. Weird? Yes Creative? Even more so, his latest EP is a work of true experimentation. Musically, Age has selected music to capture the stories time and place, giving the listener an auditory visual to set the stage for his magical performance.
Emcee Age has been deciphering rhymes and singing through riddles for over 15years. His uncanny ability to convey his brains inner workings over top unconventional beats has made his name well known in the world of under-=ground hip-hop.
After his first successful release (Age: Addicted to the Feel) he took to many collaborations. The recent completion of his forth coming EP (Age: Timeless) where he assumes many different characters, takes listeners through an evolving process, and an experimental adventure through time and space.
