Artist description zuerichten started as a straight turntables/sampler duo - almost every sound we used was sampled directly from vinyl & mixed with improvised live vinyl samples & effects, etc. & recorded directly to 2-track tape. We've gradually been incorporating more noisemakers, including a powerbook, an oscillator, more effects, etc. We've also moved from sludgy ambience more towards the perfect beat, but are still experiementing with ways to work that into an improvised setting.
