Artist History TINGLER, whose name has it’s origins in a 50s horror movie, began in 1996.Dion Conflict (a film buff and experimental musician with "SIGNAL 30”) approached guitarist "Chops", then dressed as a Star Wars villain about starting a band. "Chops" said yes and recruited his friend, Gino the Italian Ninja, to play bass.Gino was told while he was in his secret hideout: La Grubby Pizza Jointa!They then recruited a drummer through the Buy & Sell with an ad that read “Drummer wanted for a crappy band that would be heavy”.With an action that he sometimes regrets Rob "Rub" Silva answered the ad. After meeting in a trashy downtown Yonge street bar, TINGLER was formed! In 2001, the legend of Tingler came to an end, some cried, some laughed, some could of cared less...
