Artist History
TINGLER, whose name has it’s origins in a 50s horror movie, began in 1996.Dion Conflict (a film buff and experimental musician with "SIGNAL 30”) approached guitarist "Chops", then dressed as a Star Wars villain about starting a band. "Chops" said yes and recruited his friend, Gino the Italian Ninja, to play bass.Gino was told while he was in his secret hideout: La Grubby Pizza Jointa! They then recruited a drummer through the Buy & Sell with an ad that read “Drummer wanted for a crappy band that would be heavy”.With an action that he sometimes regrets Rob "Rub" Silva answered the ad. After meeting in a trashy downtown Yonge street bar, TINGLER was formed!
In 2001, the legend of Tingler came to an end, some cried, some laughed, some could of cared less... Thanks for your patronage!
P.S. look out for an upcoming The Accused tribute album for our last hurrah entitled "SplatterRock" ! |
