He has worked at a Hospital(Healthsouth-Saint Joseph's Healthcare Center as a Purchasing Agent for over 25 years.He mows lawns,does lawn raking and any other side jobs to help fund his many projects. Sidney Hipple always wanted to be a Flugnoid, even before he was one, and he never knew why, or really cared anyways. So when he started to develop his own band, he chose the name for its inner significance, beyond the story of Sidney Has Soul. To him, a Flugnoid was a direction, a purpose, a destination, a state of mind, a state beyond your mind, and state where you don't even use your mind -- and even just a relaxed comfortable atmosphere of discovery and mystery and laughter. This was his sense of being a Flugnoid. And he knew that it was only the beginning. And he enthusiastically anticipated the process of becoming a true Flugnoid. He might be the only one, but as it turned out, it happened that he found other people to join his band, that had the potential of becoming….a Flugnoid. Their presence of mind seems to be, "Every day's a holiday, every meal's a banquet, life is an adventure.
