Artist description
It depends on the night, the city and how much you've had to drink. Mostly it's our brand of what we like to call "Psychadelta" though there's been a definite leaning toward funk lately, Jr. Walker, George Clinton, James B. kind of thing, I'm trying to cover more guitar territory than just slide. I also have some gypsy stuff and some original pop ditties. There's also some recording in the works that may find a small part in our live show. We're working hard to bring diversity to our act as a duo. There's also more stuff soon to come on mp3, as soon as we sort it all out. Stay tuned to our site, and we'll let you know what's up |

Artist History
Started in '93 with me running around our appartment in New Orleans trying to break the neck off a St. Pauli girl bottle. I was drunk as shit and mad at the Big Mess for being such blues snobs. I eventually started using a socket but now I have a custom job out of a .50 cal machine-gun casing made by Mopar Mark. Slowly and surly the guitar and vocal bits have taken up my time. There's no one around that's fun to play horn with, so why bother? We did a bit of a stint in Tucson with the lineup featured on "Petite Brioche" on the mp3 cd, although sometimes it would have been Joe Graves on bass and not Jerry. The electric NDO is featured on Suitcase Blues, Snakebite and Funk it Up. Currently the Orkestra is just Isabelle and myself, which I'm enjoying, but we would like to expand. Shout outs to: Bran Van 3000, Lhasa, Augie Jr and the Big Mess, Lissa Driscoll, Jessica Logan, Andy Crocker, Danny Fitzgerald and the Lost and Wandering Jazz and Blues band, The Black Sun Ensemble, Chucky Odin and the Host, Lisa Otay, Gaelbreag, The Fey... Keep checking my site and I'll fill you in on the current details of our little soap-opera |

Press Reviews
Tucson Weekly,Tucson Poet. They all hate me here because I used to play with Chucky Odin and Jesus Acedo, local bad boys. I got a lot of press a couple years back when a band called Bran Van 3000 released a record which went around the world on Audiogramme/Capitol Records. If you've ever heard the cuts "Drinking in L.A." or "Couch Surfer" that's me playing the guitar bits. |

Additional Info
....afformentioned anecdotal material. Ok, I guess I should explain, Tucson's so sleepy and the rent's low enough that I've been able to hide myself away and write. A lot. Like nearly a hundred thousand words in the last two years. My literary influences are mostly Beat but I like the classics too. I've got five short stories and one feature length bit titled |
