Artist History
Megan Peters grew up in the Wild West of Salt Lake City. Already a fixture of the club scene by the age of 14, she fronted numerous bands before going solo in 1995. She has toured the U.S. and opened for the likes of Paula Cole, B.B. King, Ben Harper, Emmylou Harris, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, and John Hiatt. Her first release, About Time (1997), was a critical success garnering praise for her smart songwriting and passionate performances. About Time was selected as one of the Top Independent Releases of the Year (1997) by Performing Songwriter Magazine. Her new release, Queen's Bed, hits stores and the net in September 1999. |
