Artist History
Macumba's first lineup got together two years ago at school, and included about 7 members. Eventually, the lineup evolved into a smaller form consisting of founders Vicki and Claudia, next-door neighbor Stephanie and Vicki's brother Rob. Macumba began creating new songs soon afterwards. Within 3 months, they played their first show at the El Mocambo. Since then they have played at numerous other clubs including the Cameron House (from which they recorded a 5 track live EP), The 360, and the Lion Club. We disbanded in 2000. |
