Artist History
Libby Lavella, a musician who has been developing herself as an artist since the young age of 15, and never straying from it. Determination is an understatement. Learning the piano from the age of 6 and playing most of her life. Self taught guitar player by the age of 14 and a songwriter at age 15, but a poet since she could read and write. Her music is constantly developing, drawing on her native Australian upbringing, her Italian family heritage, life experiences and other world influences as often as possible. Her songs have a very sophisticated harmonic and melodic sensibility, with a lyrical edge that is laced with symbolism. Her 1st solo effort completed in 1998, and a second on the way. Stay tuned. |

Press Reviews
"Libby is a very talented Songwriter, a good singer, a fine presenter of her own material and someone who knows how to contect with audiences. In many ways she is the complete package. While Libby is not in the top-echelon of performers, it is only that mythical break that is preventing her from getting there." Music Connection May 1999 - Jon Pepper |
