Artist History

Upon meeting at a Boston University Orientation barbecue, Brito and Suarez decided to collaborate and fulfill their creative desires by forming a band. Finding much unoriginality in the current electro-industrial scene, this duo set a goal for themselves not to fall into the same boring cycle of musical monotony as many of their peers. From the EBM style of "Innocence", the dark lush chord structure of "Harbinger", to the dance-floor friendly "New Society", the self titled demo offers only a sampling of the range of music that defines Gasr. DJ Ferret of Dancing Ferret Productions commented "If you like EBM, you'll probably dig this [demo]. Very rhythmic...great potential." Gasr has received club and radio play throughout the northeast. |
