Press Reviews
Review of "What Remains" from "Halls of Nephren-Ka": This artist, from frozen Canada, absolutely devastates with this teaser track from his forthcoming album. One is initially softened with some very interesting bass synth work, then pummelled into submission by the driving insanity of screeching insectoid vocals that seem to emanate from the thoughts of a madman and masterly synth work. This is where industrial goes to metamorphose into something more obscurely brilliant. This guy can pull some interesting effects out of his magic bag, all done with style and an eye to detail. Rating: 20/23 pseudopods. |
