Artist description
This is my first solo project. I got tired of being in
bands and the endless soap operas that came with them. And plus
this gives me a chance to experiment alot with almost anything
I want to experiment with. What I would like to do in the future
is get rid of almost any musical insturmentation entirely and form
the melodys and rythms out of sounds. I've attempted to do that quite
a bit in these last few songs. In "Weakness" the opera sounding parts are
actually me running a hammer inside of a metal dough bowl, that the people
at pizza hut were kind enough to let me sample. Even though
you can't get the same emotion that you can get with an insturment
out of something like a pop can I hope to be able to at least create
some sort of feeling in my songs. I do admit however, that although my music
may not be the best in the world, I have grown considerable amount over the
past few years. And I hope to improve with every song I create.

Artist History
I started in 1996 mixing sounds through a small computer based sampler. My library of sounds has grown to almost 3000 now with every thing from the Mating sounds of cows to a deli slicer. Most of everything I have done has been tapes I've just given to friends.
There's not much history other than countless hours at the computer mixing stuff and collecting sounds. I've never performed live, although I would like to some day. I have several friends that have contributed to my music over the years. But it was never anything
to extensive (vocals and insturmentation) they have just mostly contributed ideas and stuff. I regret to say that I probably will never put my voice in any of my songs I can't stand to hear my own voice. But I hope to find someone to sing for me someday. |
