Artist History
After relocating to the metropolitan N.Y.C area in late 94, EGO entered Clearcut Studios in Saddle Brook, NJ, to record theirfirst studio album. Unfortunately, due to poor studio production and engineering, less than one-third of the track were mastered correctly. Wisely, Ego did not relinquish its ownership of the production rights, and by 1996 retained sole possession of the recorded material. In 1997, theband members formed their own independent label, Overmind Records, and began touring in support of regionaldistribution of their 1998 eponymous CD release. |
