Artist History
When we first formed we were called ‘Prophets’ and we played loads of dodgy gigs around Dublin, posing as a covers band but in reality we only did one or two covers and the rest was our own unusual sounding music. This made for some uncomfortable situations when the people watching us wanted to hear Bonnie Tyler tunes or karoke classics which we were unable to supply. We gave that stuff up and got a residency in a bar in town supporting a pretty groovy band who don’t exist anymore. After that we bought white boiler suites and did various gigs around Dublin in places like the Mean Fiddler, Whelans, The Da Club. We also played a festival down in Limerick and gig in Mountjoy Prison Dublin. After a about two years of this our drummer decided it was time to move a remote town in arsehole of nowhere to chill out. We got a new line up and giged around Dublin some more, this line didn’t last and we’ve been limbo just recording these days. |

Press Reviews
The Perfect Antidote to all that noise came in the shape of d'angelus, my personal recommendation of the fortnight. Imagine infectious Wellaresque jangling with a slight country and western twist topped off with very distinctive lounge lizerd style vocals. They also do a nice line in alternating lead vocals and finish an excellent set with a song callled "Daytime T.V." Before long they may at least be on daytime radio playlists.
