Press Reviews
From Dirty Linen Magazine- Cropduster: A Strange Sort of PrayerThis disc is exactly what it says it is: a strange sort of prayer for the disenchanted, the outcast, the fat wallflower, and the crazy uncle. The dryand reedy vocals of Andrew Asp, Brian Fitzpatrick, and Justin barr, that occasionally echo a Beatle-like harmony through their slacker-twangs, persuasively convey the hope of the hopeless and the desperation of the man for whom Satan has a plan. Like an American Gothic verson of "Eleanor Rigby" (or a country-rock version of James Joyce's "Ulysses"), this disc travels through the very different lives (perhaps from cradle to grave) of people who walk past each other every day without a thought and without a prayer. This album is their prayer. |
