Artist History
Began 1991 New Orleans as acoustic project by David Perry and Carolyn Turner.
Reassumed in 1993 in Milledgeville, Georgia when Perry met Noah Brown.
Subsequent trip to New Orleans resulted in first group of songs that later were transformed into full band arrangements.
After several auditions, Perry and Brown joined with guitarist Richard Gorman and drummer Gregory Purvis.
Bassist Jeffery Highman joined shortly thereafter to begin rehersals for the recording of a three song demo at Rocketsound Studio in Athens, Georgia.
After achieving a small amount of exposure on college radio, the band split up, with the members traveling to the four corners of the country.
In 1995, Brown moved to upstate New York to work with Perry.
Their collaboration continues. |
