    Artist description
With each decade, there've been bands that have fought to keep true rock and roll alive. In the 50's it was artists such as Chuck Berry and Elvis. In the 60's, the Beatles and the Stones, and later bands like AC/DC and Oasis continued to keep the people rocking. All Access continues down that road it's predecessors laid before them, delivering a sound with high energy and attitude, as well as soft and sweet melody- what Rock and Roll is all about! The band's music has been compared to artists such as Radiohead, The Vines, Foo Fighters, and even Cheap Trick, but they refuse to be thrown into "any" specific genre. Doug explains, "We are a Rock band. We're not a hard rock band, we're not an emo rock band, we're not a post-whatever rock band. There are too many categories today that people try to put themselves and others into, even outside of music. We don't mind comparisons, just as long as people don't limit us as artists to those comparisons. We write whatever comes naturally. It may end up sounding like the Stones or U2, but it's all Rock and Roll to us." Though All Access loves to rock, they are a band with meaning that takes their role in music very seriously. "The Greek philosopher Plato once said, 'When modes of music change the fundamental laws of the state change with them'", says Doug. "We believe in that and the fact that Rock and Roll is one of the most powerful forces in the world today. There's a lot of change that needs to take place, and we hope we can be a part of making some of those changes happen." Playing over 200 shows from coast to coast, All Access is dedicated religiously to touring and stays true to the cause of keeping Rock and Roll alive and well!

    Press Reviews
Harmonies favoring The Who, or even Cheap Trick... every song has that big hook, whether shredding the stage or breathing an extra bit of gentle sounds into the smoke hovering above the audience. My favorite All Access song is "Gone". Fast and surly, I'm sure this song kills live. -Dustin Landrum, A&R Shut Eye Records January 2003 ______________________________________________________________________ Even though this CD clocks in at under 18 minutes listeners will get a good dose of rock and roll from top to bottom. I'm very impressed with Doug Lucas and his song writing, and have grown to really like the majority of this effort. "What Happened To Reality" is a great example of the talent of this band and tells me that All Access is only just starting to scratch the surface. While you can still hear quite a bit of punk influence weaved through out these songs, the overall project has a Weezer-like feel to it. Another of my favorite songs, "Too Good For You", also adds a bit of a Foo Fighter touch. Whatever style Lucas and his boys decide to stick with will no doubt turn some heads. Record labels would be smart to keep a close eye on these guys while their sound matures, as the potential for stardom is in the making. -Jason Best, Godcore.com February 2002 (The Composites Of Rock And Roll EP)
