Artist description Out of the ashed... into the light... Strength Beyond U were meant to bring melodic heaviness to the masses. Formed in 1998 by Amadeus X (lead guitarist, writer, producer) and Sonny Carafelli (lead vocalist, guitarist, writer) they decided to put a heavy band together with the influnces of Dio, Black Sabbath, and King's X (just to name a few) to bring melodic and conscious lyrics with meaning, togther with pounding brutality of reality. Brought in KENNY GILL (bassist, writer) and TOM HART (drummer, writer) to create quality heavy metal for the masses. The EP, Soul Divide, was co-produced by drummer/producer Bill Whyte (Halloween) has gained exceptional applause by peers and fans alike, since it's release in November 2002. SBU are currently back in the studio recording a full length for a Fall 2003 release. "Our music is not about trends, but about touching the truth- so let the truth be told."
