Artist History
The Crash City Roadside Diner is a nice place to visit if you happen to be dead. Located on the outer limits of the red light district of Crash City, Heaven, this is the place where our heros (recently deceased after a freak car accident one fateful, stormy evening in 1957) met. Not being particularly fond of the harp, the four young greasers quickly formed a rock 'n roll band and spent the next couple of decades entertaining bars full of drunken and rowdy angels. Throughout this time they followed the changing musical trends going on down on planet Earth, growing an especially strong fondness for the Cocteau Twins and the Jesus and Mary Chain (two oft-requested and popular jukebox bands in the afterlife). Finally, in the year 2002, having conquered all the pop charts in Heaven the Crash City Saints decided to return to Earth for one last shot at rock and roll redemption.
Now, melding the ambient guitar texturing of the late 80's/early 90's shoegazer sound with a rock 'n roll aesthetic and armed with a fearsome arsenal of guitar pedals, samplers and attitude on loan from God the Crash City Saints stand poised, bayonets affixed, ready to put the noise back into a stagnating music scene...
