Artist History
On September 27, 1995 Brand New Day unleashed their first dance single "You Can Have It, (If You Want It)", a twelve inch E.P. with two tracks on
one side, and an engraved piece of artwork on the other. The record was released in both Canada and the U.K. Ever since that moment the
response to the duo's efforts have been overwhelming. In Canada the record started charting and made it to number 1 of the top ten in "TRIBE"
Magazine's national dance chart. In the U.K., "MIX" magazine gave the single a five dancing man thumbs up, the mag's highest rating. |

Press Reviews
'You Can Have It (If You Want It)' (white label)
A deep dubby affair from Jeffrey Leclair and ex-Northern wideboy Paul Walker, who now lives among all the snowboarders in Canada. The first
release is a vocal groove punctuated by a funky lead guitar riff. This is a really solid US-style track that really should be checked out. Five dancing
men. - Mixmag Jan, 98
Brand New Day - Have it (Eastern Bloc promo CA)$
Good house track from Jeffrey Leclair and Paul Walker. The vocal mix features vocals by Leslea Keurvorst which are garagey and on key, blends a
nice beat generation guitar hook into a solid bass line. -Tribe Magazine, Oct. 97
