Experience shed, a band whose uncompromising honesty and searing emotion have fueled their steady and consistent rise. The power and truth of their performances will leave you stunned and exhausted, as they wring a drop of blood for every bead of sweat that hits the stage.
Their love and belief in each other has allowed a natural, musical fusion, combining far-ranging influences into a tidal rush of sound which is unique and truthful. Their music, whether raw or melodic, is searing in its emotional intensity and dynamic, and is matched only by the mesmerizing presence of their stage show.
Taking cues from their contemporaries, shed has combined personal and professional integrity, and faith in each other, to form an unrelenting unit, leaving their ever-growing and loyal fans exhausted and in awe. The release of their first full-length CD, Unashamed, charted on over 200 loud rock format and college stations across the country. The band exploded into five major trade magazine's radio charts (CMJ, FMBQ, Gavin, Album Network and HITS), including top five adds on both CMJ and HITS. Their success culminated with a headlining slot at the 1997 CMJ Music Marathon and convention held annually in NYC. Recent months have seen the band expanding upon their early success, as they descend upon new East Coast markets with their unforgettable live performances.
Travelling throughout the region and sharing the stage with artists the likes of Helmet, Korn, The Misfits, Rollins Band, Monster Magnet, Vision of Disorder, Machine Head, Clutch, House of Pain, Staind, Kid Rock, Life of Agony and Crisis, as well as regional powers Sam Black Church, Nothingface and Tree. shed has served notice that they are a band to be reckoned with. shed's popularity has been consistently growing and their potential for future success is unlimited.
Their eagerly awaited second CD, Mosaic, released by Sike Records, is a stunning effort which accurately reflects their maturation as a band. They now stand poised to take their rightful place in the hearts and heads of audiences across the country. shed is to be taken seriously and not to be missed. |
