Artist description We love to rock, and we prefer to go nuts on stage rather than playing flawlessly live. That's what an album is for. Why would someone go out to see a band play live when they'll get the same experience sitting at home with their CD player? Rockin', jumpin', yellin', movin', runnin', dancin', divin', sweatin', rockin's what we do ... plus, we're not too hard on the eyes either. ^_^

Musical Influences The local music scene, esp. Third, The Tripods, Capacity 3...

Artist History We're a band of good friends who grew up with each other in little old Lakewood. The guys who were a part of the band: Bob, Steveo, and Chris went to school with us as well, and it was fun jamming with you all. We met Josh through work, and we miss you bud ... keep in touch. Jayson's the only one who left a bitter feeling in our minds; hopefully he'll learn to improve and keep his relationships with the people around him. Before Nothing or Double was created, I can remember the other Lakewood bands and musicians who gave me some hope of performing myself. The Bar Flies and Capacity 3 ... Jerry Isom, Andrew Shields ... thanks for the memories and inspiration. The Bar Flies moved on to become The Derivatives, and after that came Third. Man, I guess you can say that they're the ideal band in my opinion. Wonderful guys, very talented in both writing and performing, and always free to express themselves while treating everyone with equality and fairness. I wasn't too sure about joining a band when I first considered the possibility. I felt like I didn't have any experience, while everyone else had been playing music most of their lives. It took me a few years before I really started to take interest in learning the bass guitar. I'd never played a string instrument before that, and I am one to take what others say personally. So, the beginning of my road to rock was very slow ... I tried to receive motivation from my friends so I won't just throw this interest away. No one really seemed to care, and I figured that there are too many bands out there already--no need to make the problem worse. (more to come later ... gtg)
