Press Reviews
The more I listened to Getting to You, the more I liked it. The beat and main guitar line
does sound like The Prodigy, and a higher compliment I cannot imagine. The drums
have a very echoey, industrial quality that works here. It sounds slick and well produced.
There is enough killer rhythm here to keep the groove going all through the song. I think
it is dance-club ready.
My main complaint, which I find myself giving to many artists, is lack of variation. A
quote from Fury's page: "[I want to] create music which is an experience to listen to, time
and time again!" Because of Getting to You's repetitiveness, I'm not sure it has as much
replay value as Fury thinks he does. It has a great driving beat, but one great driving beat
does not a song make, even in Drum and Bass. Still, it’s worth at least a few listens, for
sure. Recommended.
