Artist description Dayspring is a GROOVE oriented riff-rock group that's been together for two and a half years. They've been playing shows around western NY with a passionate dedication to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. The four members include Jerry Newell, a talented poet/ singer on bass guitar; Kaje Hulshoff, a passionate musician on lead guitar and lead vocals, an angelic vocalist Christine Johnson on backing vocals and drums and Kenny Drury, an amazing vocalist and musician on rhythm guitar and backing vocals. The music is jam packed full of barbershop harmonies, tasteful solos and lyrics that make you wonder how they knew what you were thinking. The songs range from heavy grooves that are instant favorites to ballads that seep to the depths of your heart, break down the walls, and prepare the way of the Lord. Their goal is to be obediant to Jesus. Whether wide reaching opportunities come or not, the group is dedicated to doing what the Lord would have them to do, big or small. Their focus is on giving their testimonies of the life changing person of Jesus via anecdotes and song lyrics and on inviting those who know Him away from empty religion and into real relationship with our Lord. The members are passionate fully devoted Christians who are on fire to let His light shine into a darkened world by doing what they love for Whom they love. And they're constantly enlarging the vision to reach more people in deeper ways. Dayspring is about Jesus and great music.

Artist History Each of us were found by the Lord as we believed and received the truth of Jesus Christ‘s sacrifice to wash away our sins. Press Reviews To whom it may concern, This is a letter of reference concerning the Christian men in the band "Dayspring". These men all attend services at "The Churck on the Rock" and as a pastor I have come to know them in the past year. During that time they have been involved in our prayer meetings, Bible studies and Church services as well as other events. They are men who are hungry for Jesus Christ and have a strong desire to know Him and to serve Him. I have seen the Lord's work in their lives as He has deepened their dedication and commitment to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. They have a strong message that glorifies the Lord and testifies of His salvation to the lost. My continued prayer is that they will be used more and more to reach the lost, especially this lost generation of youth. The church needs more young men like the members of "Dayspring". Additional Info If you continually believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord you will be saved from hell. God knows that we can't be good enough to get to heaven, that's why He took our punishment for us. Let's face it ...we need Him. By the way, He loves you more than words could ever express!
