Artist History David Rios(guitarist) and Steve Vallera(bassist)met in Reseda Highschool Jazz Band. Drmmer, Mike Bernstein, was introduced by a mutual friend. While playing bass for local band "Rapture" Jimi Kanady (while singing a small solo) caught Dave's attention. After deciding to start a band, Dave, Steve, and Mike decided to ask Jimi Kanady to join the band. And, Animus was formed. Now, after a 3 year hiatus, the band has reformed as TheShapeCycle.
