Artist History
Hoyt began playing guitar in 1967, and started writing songs in 1996. He began playing out in public in June 2000. Since that time, he has performed numerous times as a solo acoustic act, and several times with his band, The HotHeads, which was formed in June 2002. Among Hoyt's most notable performances was as opening act for folksinger Dan Bern in March 2002, and at the Florida Music Harvest (with the Hotheads) at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, in Live Oak, Florida, in September 2002. |
