Artist History Erin Jordan grew up in Chicago. Early in life Erin realized that she had a talent for singing and writing. Being rather shy, she found that singing and the written word were often her most effective means of communication. Erin began seriously songwriting while studying classical voice in college in Central Illinois. She began playing guitar and combining her poetry with music. A multi-instrumentalist, she also became proficient on bass, mandolin, and her first instrument, piano. After finishing school, Erin moved back up to Chicago to pursue a career in music. In 2001 Erin completed a six song ep recorded at a friend's home studio. These songs were inspired by Erin's experiences going to school in Central Illinios, and feature Erin performing all of the tracks. It is meloncholy and raw. Erin's new full length album, "Land of Milk and Honey" will be completed in September of 2003. This album is a sort of travel logue and features several other Chicago musicians. Erin currently lives and performs in Chicago.
