Artist description Located in Holly Springs, BottleBox Studios offers courses for students in visual arts, computers and music with a focus on the creative process and team development. Students work in teams to write, produce and record their own CD's. Concepts range from an introduction to music theory to song and lyric development. No prior musical ability is required!

Artist History PopStar!: Ages: 7-12 6 Week Program So you want to be a rock star but you don't know how to play an instrument? Then this is your class! In PopStar students will learn everything it takes to write, produce and record their own pop song. Students will explore the principles of beat, tempo, measure, and chord arrangement. They will be introduced to the musical concepts of bass, rhythm and melody with hands on experience using the keyboard, drum machine and recording equipment. Dreams of being a pop star will be fulfilled with the completion of the classes own original song recorded on CD for you to keep. No prior musical ability is required!
