Artist History I started producing music under the name of 950:magnus in early 1999. The alias wasnt very popular and the music was pretty crap. So i decided to make a new start with only trance and hard house. D214 was the alias i chose to do this (D for dawson and 214 cause a bus 215 goes near my house and my mate that suggested the name thought it was 214). This alias is still going well even thought i havent produced anything under D214 for over nine months. i still get around 15 song listens a day with it! I decided to stop D214 around a 9 months ago becuase of a change in production and quality of music. I decided to just produce music under my full name, Chris Dawson. I still use this alias but i have not updated it much as i only use it for music other than trance which i dont produce that often. Freedom was started as a project for more uplifting euphoric trance which is generaly what i produce the most. Since the start of freedom I have had some good feedback and made some friends in the world of trance including DJLight (http://www.mp3.com/djlight) who i did a remix for.
