MUSICAL STYLE
Funk rock, accentuated by free-form jam style grooves and thought provoking lyricism.
ARTIST DESCRIPTION
For Lipriddle, the most important element of music is innovation. This 4-piece Kansas City band combines many different styles of music to produce a unique, edgy sound.
Much of Lipriddle s versatility comes from having very distinct male and female vocals, accompanied by original and inventive instrumentation. Brets freaky-deaky bass playing style allows him to bounce back and forth between playing chords and grooves, while, lead guitarist, Chad Bourquin, adds riveting guitar sounds that range from heavy 70s style rock to melodic harmonies. Drummer, James Circello s uncompromising beat provides the rhythmic sensation of the band, while percussionist, Gigi, solidifies the hip, funky groove with culture color like no other.
Lipriddle’s collective creativity can be attributed to their strong relationships within the band. Having played together for the past 3 years, Lipriddle continues to hone their abilities individually and as a group. In a live situation, this group gives off a vibe that is both intense and enigmatic. Change your plans and check it out!
