Artist History
In late October of 2001, guitarist Tim D’Agostino, drummer Johnny DeRienzo and bassist Mike Uliano had been rehearsing as a group in the basement of Johnny’s family business with an arsenal of tunes. They ran into one major setback; no permanent singer. As auditions went by
and time marched on, no singer seemed to match the vision of the trio.
It wasn’t until mid December of 2001 that Tim reunited with a long time friend old bandmate
who would help them show off the music in a search for any leads he might have
for a frontman.
Showing up weeks later with Connecticut native, Shelby Carcio, the vision of the band would change. The band never thought of a female singer coming into the group, but after listening to a very diverse singing style, the guys could finally envision that their combined talents could set this group aside from many acts on the current music scene.
Era for a Moment was truly born in January 2002. The heavy music was unique enough
to earn them an opening slot for a signed national act that would open doors for the band at
a later date.
Hitting the road harder has helped Era for a Moment build their reputation as a powerful act and to be able to truly push boundaries. Creating even more of a buzz throughout New England, this band will soon be headed across the world. |
