Artist History
twodoggarage grew out of the seeds sown by such prominent los angeles bands as out vile jelly, stewboss, elbowpop and idaho.
main songwriter alex kimmell had been doing session work around town as a drummer and vocalist for years. "i finally got to the point where i needed to get my own songs out and focus my energy there."
having composed over 250 songs alex began to pick and choose the songs most closely vibrating in his heart. "then i called up some musicians i had known for years as great players and threw out the idea of twodoggarage to them!" much to his delight, they all wanted to be in the band.
"twodoggarage is about making a community of musicians who gel together by expressing their individual talents and styles. and so far it's been working pretty good!" |
