Press Reviews hmmm...what does this cd remind me of....it's so good that i'd even venture to call it amazing, and for me to say that it must be something i've heard before....wait, that's it! it just satisfies my musical apetite--it's not like most 'fresh talent' out there, most stuff just is obviously trying to be something, this stuff comes straight from the heart and drives it home without having to mooch off other artist's work...impressive. the instruments are obviously being played by someone who more than just knows how to play in the head and hands, their played by someone who was meant to play them. and the fact that he does them all, well that just says enough right there to convince anybody to at least give it a listen! the vocals are good, too, not any of that whiny, wannabe crap you hear so often these days. i've heard it compared to the likes of switchfoot, though my first instinct was rivers cuomo of weezer, and then also there's a reminiscence to matt theissen of relient k...guess that can only mean one thing--finally an indie artist who's got a unique and yet quality sound! i love the kids voice. and the last ingredient to the formula-the lyrics. no matter what anyone says, the lyrics do affect the whole song/sound. fortuneatly, there's no worries to be found here, they're amazing just like everything else!! they mean something, they're not empty, they're not stupid, they're just worthwhile. all in all, this is one crazy-good cd. it's fun, it's moving, it's phenonemal. check it out.--Emily Cleigh- a defenite punkrawksuprchik
