Artist description Dave Carey (not to be confused with his son Doug Carey who plays bass in The Jesus Fish Evolution, or with father Dave Carey; studio musician/pianist/percussionist) is a lawyer, songwriter, keyboard player, singer, aging hippie, and longtime resident of Brooklyn, New York. He is also a refugee of the events of 9/11 having run from the cloud of dust and death. Dave currently plays gigs on the piano with influences ranging from the 1930s to the 1980s. The music of the 60s, especially The Beatles, acts as a big influence. Dave also has a home studio which he calls One Take Studios. With his trusty 4 track, keyboard, microphone and reverb box, he is able to record his original compositions and now, with the assistance of Chloe Weil, for the first time, has put online, a few of these ditties for your listening pleasure.
