Artist History
There is something out there you just can't put your finger on, but you know it's there. The feeling of knowledge you can't quite develop into speech. A hazy edge around your reality, that's us. The thoughts you keep to yourself, the feelings that make us truly human, these are our biggest influences, our basis of thought. Our direction is all directions, all influences all thoughts.
The songs we play span a wide range of our own view of this reality. From the skewed wondering on a senseless killing, to the broad sweep of emotions felt for the opposite sex.
The live shows we've played have been an inspiration to us since the beginning. That is our focus, a great live show. Based on songwriting by all four members, swirling like the clouds of a thunderstorm, blowing in from the four directions, come the elements of the sound; dynamically engaging and enchanting the music is something that compels one to pay close attention.
Our music, the only reson we even exist, is our true fascination. When some bands look at the practice space or studio as a necessary evil, we approach it from a very positive place. There isn't anything better than the music you love to make, except for playing to a live audience. The purpose, our sole intention, is to try to take the audience a step higher than they can go on their own. If we can all get off together, then so much the better. We thrive on the energy of a crowd, the collective madness of a show.
When the band was formed we came together with a passion to play our kind of music and and to play with or souls out for anyone in the audience to see. All they have to do is come and watch, 'buy the ticket and take the ride' as a sage author alway's says. But then again who are we.... |
