Artist description In her own words :  "I was born in St Louis, MO. on January 14, 1923, and grew up in a home filled with music of all kinds, but especially classical.  My maternal grandfather played the violin and was a violin maker by trade.  My favorite uncle was an accomplished, professional pianist, so you see, music is in my blood. Musical training consists of early lessons from my uncle, followed in grade school by about five years of additional piano lessons by nuns.  I had done little or no composing up to this point in my life, and had no idea of how to annotate music when, in 1991, "Angel Music" suddenly winged its way into my life.  After receiving the first song (Chamuel) I had no idea that within the next few years I would compose over 50 angel songs. There was to be no rest for me, thanks to the angels, and I was prodded and led by the angels to share this music with others, so in 1993 I made my first professional recording at the ripe young age of 70.  In 1994 I recorded Volume II, and then in 1997 we (the angels and I) recorded Volume III.  To usher in the new millennium, my angels have created the music for Volume IV and appropriately we call it "Spirit Of The Angels". Will there be a Volume V? I suspect there will be if the angels have their way. Who can say "no" to angels?

Artist History What is "Angel Music"?  "In 1991, I attended a series of angel workshops where I learned to meditate while focusing on the role of God's angels in our everyday life.  I felt an immediate connection with many heavenly angels.  In a matter of weeks I began 'sensing' sounds of music during meditation, and oftentimes, when I sat down to play the piano, this heavenly music just seemed to take over.  I was led to refer to this as "Angel Music".    In a year and a half, I had written 24 songs and strongly sensed during meditation that I was expected to 'do something' with this gift of music.  So, in 1993, at the ripe young age of 70, I made my first professional recording of 14 of these songs.  Volume I, 'A Hug Around the Heart', may be found on tape in many shops in St. Louis, in 14 other states other than Missouri, and in Canada.  The gift of "Angel Music" continued to flow, and in 1994 the angels again gently persuaded me to record 16 new angel songs in Volume II called "Unconditional Love". Throughout 1995 and 1996 the angels kept me busy working on many new songs, and late in 1997 I recorded Volume III, "I Believe in Angels". In this recording I added some beautiful new sounds. Along with the lyrical piano, the gentle harmonies of violins, exciting drums, mystical flutes, angelic harps and more enhance this wonderful music greatly. Since Volume III was released I've had many requests for more "Angel Music" and with the angels once more in command, late in 1999 I recorded Volume IV, "Spirit Of The Angels" featuring 17 new songs (those angels just won't quit!). By popular request I am again including a booklet (10 pages this time) telling the story behind each song, as well as the lyrics for the three songs sung by Karen Mary (Becker) - a very talented vocalist and entertainer from Marthasville, MO.
