Artist History
Mark Sutch studied at Berklee College Of Music, U. Of Toronto, and North Texas State University where he earned his Masters degree in composition. In particular he has studied with Michael Gibbs, Harry Somers, and Paris Rutherford, III.
Mark has written a ballet, The Garden Of Eden, and an orchestral overture, Absolute Music, which will receive its world premiere this season with the B.S.O.. In addition, Mark has scored for industrial films, big band jazz ensembles, string quartets, and most recently has ventured into the pop songwriting market.
Mr. Sutch currently has a day-gig teaching high school in Woodstock, Ontario and arranging step-one band charts for beginning music students.
