Artist description
Classical violinist/composer, Ann Fontanella, debuted with conductor David Zinman and Philadelphia Orchestra at 10. She has earned numerous awards for violin performance and music composition. In May 2002, she was invited to record her piece, "Rondo" for preview at the ASCAP Award ceremonies at Lincoln Center. Fantasy (an independent project), is a CD featuring sonatas and short works for violin and piano.

Debuted with Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by David Zinman at age 10. Merited Morton Gould competition award for young composers in 2001-2002. In addition, she earned many awards for violin performance, including the Greenfield competition of the Philadelphia Orchestra at 9 years of age. |
