Artist History
Putty Root arrieved here on Earth in 2002 AD in the small town of Dix Hills, NY out in the ungodly Long Island. These 3 "musicians" decided to plague the planet with their unique style of rock music. They call this genra "Evil-Pop" blending roots of punk rock, hard rock, industrial, metal, hardcore, and experimental with their special pinch of pop goodness making each song differant and catchy. As a trio, Putty Root is utilyzing their alien technology (as they call it, "Milton") to create the backbeat of this music. Topping things off, is the bands electrifying "angel of death" front-woman who maintains a voice that will captivate you, draw you in, and never let you go.
Putty Root are leading the revolution of their "Evil-Pop" sound drawing influences from such diverse bands as Tsunami Bomb, Mindless Self Indulgence, Coheed and Cambria, Nirvana, Snake River Conspiracy, Kittie, Smashing Pumpking, Nirvana and The Misfits.
