Artist History Jape and Matty have been close friends since the age of 4. They grew up neighbors in Lake City, Pennsylvania near the small port city of Erie. As kids playing games like "Friend Dead" and "Jackstraws", their creativity developed in the most unique ways and is culminating with their shared vision of a debut album. ()()() Jape lived in the Erie area most of his 26.5 years on earth as a human. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he has been known to teach mathematics as a full-time hobby. He has always had a unique affinity for creative and artistic endeavors. Very recently, he's discovered how to apply logic and emotion to creating music using voices and guitars. It continues to surprise him as this "Naturalus" sound becomes more complex. ()()() Matty was raised throughout Pennsylvania (Erie, Lake City, Lebanon). He also spent some of his high school years in Bolingbrook, Illinois - a suburb of Chicago. His study of music as a child for both guitar and piano have resurfaced over the past few years in the form of powerful chord progressions. The same sounds that seem destined to be brought to life by him, his lifelong friend Jape, and their various life experiences.
