Press Reviews Exit 131 brings new meaning to the words "pop punk". We are a band and with fast guitar riffs, throbbing drum beats, catchy lyrics, and a sound distinctly ours. Exit 131 is a unique blend of styles; we combine punk, pop punk, and good old rock n roll and put our own spin on it with lyrics that people can relate to--girls, fights, and everything in between. Our catchy styles will be sure to get your foot tapping and your head banging. We are a group of kids, and already have a group of listeners and followers, and are hoping to soon broaden that group to many more people. We have been together for nearly one year, but have been playing our instruments for far less time then that. Since then, we evolved from a boring cover band to a band that is now writing their own songs, recording demos, and playing shows and making fans. We have evolved so much in such a short period of time at such a young age, and we can hardly expect what is to come given more time and age.
