Artist History Living in a small town outside of Austin, Tx called Rockdale, Jerod Swift and Bobby Buchanan would jam together with acoustic guitars and hope of putting together a band. Looking for a new start and a more positive look at music after having bad partings with their former band, cousin’s Nick Montelongo and Ray Mendoza got together with Jerod and Bobby to jam one night. The chemistry and atmosphere felt too cool. The four long time friends all agreed to gather as much as possible to jam. The jam sessions would become popular around town and the crowd would continue to grow, so they all agreed to form the band and call themselves ELIXIR 100% PURE! ! ! !
