Artist History
2000: The band takes on a DJ, who also knew a
bassist by the name of Tige Epperson. Tige
stepped in, and was far better than the band could have hoped for.
A perfect compliment to Colin's guitar had finally
been found. However, Tige and the DJ lived two
hours away, which made for a rough practice schedule.
Also, a rift between the band and the DJ was beginning
to widen, culminating in his immediate dismissal
from the band. Fearing that his geographical
distance from the band along with the firing of
the DJ would also mean losing a bassist, Todd called
Tige to let him know it was over. Tige expressed
that he wanted to make the band work, and wanted
to sit down and talk things out among the band.
Long story short: the band made it work.
Several shows later, the band decides to take their
music into Atlantis Studios in Nashville, working
with producer Voytek Kochanek. Having worked at
the studio before, the band decided to take three
songs and make an EP. Voytek saw promise in the
band, but felt that all aspects needed to be
polished. He agreed to let the band use his
studio to write and record a full-length album.
Over the next two years the band would travel two
hours every other weekend. In between the weekends
Todd would travel twice a week to work with Voytek's
wife Lilianna who was an accomplished vocal coach.
In these two years the band gelled both musically
and personally. They fell into new avenues such
as different time signatures, melodic vocals,
unconventional guitar riffs, progressive bass
lines, and groove oriented drumming. So in
conclusion and to stem from the two meanings at
the top of the page the band became (.trib.), but
more importantly they became original.

Press Reviews
We got good reviews from our shows and some major
label interest but we weren't what Sony was looking
for at this point. Go figure! It's O.K. we hope
